Vacancy - Part-Time Receptionist

This busy Doctors Surgery needs someone with a positive attitude to become a member of a team that works hard and depends on each other for its success.  The position is currently for up to 20 hours per week covering Mondays and Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  You will also be required to cover holidays and sickness and therefore some flexibility is essential.  The surgery is open 08:00-18:30 Monday-Friday and 08:00-11:00 Saturdays.  A routine day consists of 3 shifts, -morning afternoon and evening, any one of which may need covering.  You need to be a team player, computer literate, able to work under pressure and have good interpersonal skills. EXTRA WEEKEND CLINICS

GP appointments are now available 7 days a week in Watford and Three Rivers.  Patients registered with a GP practice in either Watford or Three Rivers can now make an appointment to see a GP at the weekend, Saturdays 9am - 1pm and 3pm-7pm, Sundays 9am - 1pm  and 3pm-7pm and up to 8.00 pm on a weekday evening.  Appointments for blood tests can also be booked at the weekend. 

During these appointments your health record may be accessed and viewed by clinical staff other than your GP or a GP at your practice.  Please be assured that your confidentiality will be maintained. 

Please ask the receptionist for further details.  PLEASE NOTE: the phone lines will not be open during these extra clinics.

Abbots Langley Carers Network (ALCN) hold coffee mornings in the Methodist Church Hall, Langley Road, from 10.30 am to 12 noon on the last Wednesday of each month.
