WEA pre-bookable routine GP appointments are available 7 days a week for patients registered with a GP practice in Watford and Three Rivers. 

Appointments are available at the weekend, Saturdays 09:00 – 13:00 and 15:00 – 19:00 and Sundays 09:00 – 13:00. There are also evening week day appointments from 18:30 – 22:00. Appointments for blood tests can also be booked on Saturday and Sunday mornings 09:30 – 12:00.

Currently, as part of this initiative, Vine House will be open in our Hub rotation however patients can book an appointment in any one of the participating surgeries at their convenience.  To book an appointment please contact our reception team by phone or in person during normal working hours.  These are routine pre-bookable appointments only.

There are also WEA urgent on the day appointments.  Please ask at reception for details.

When we hold the clinics at Vine House this may involve GPs from other surgeries working here as well as our own.  During these appointments all GPs will be able to access your medical notes in the usual way.  Please be assured that your confidentiality will be maintained. 

Please note that the receptionist cannot deal with any queries, i.e. prescriptions, sick notes, results or letters etc. at a WEA clinic.  The phone lines are not open during these extra clinics so if you need an urgent appointment or need to speak to a doctor please telephone 111.

In addition, our GPs will continue to run extended hours - three Saturday mornings per month 08:00 – 11:00 and one week per month early mornings from 07:30. Every Wednesday one GP also has appointments from 07:00.

Please rest assured that we are very aware there is a huge demand on GP appointments and we hope these extra clinics will help to ease the pressure.
